Our current research focuses on mobility and safety. For example, we are currently working on navigation software for drones in forest areas in order to simplify sustainable forest management based on constantly updated data. In parallel, we are developing a navigation assistance system for forest harvesters based on georeferenced positioning networks. Furthermore, we have been supporting road accident research in Germany for years and have developed NDSE, a novel method for the collection, transmission and management of real driving data (Naturalistic Driving Data), which demonstrably increases our safety in road traffic today.
